How does AVRA pick this week's starters?

AVRA ranks every player by the weekly projection its lineup calls use, built separately for each scoring type. The list stops at the starter line of a standard league. In a 12-team league with one quarterback, two running backs, two receivers and one tight end, that means 12 quarterbacks, 24 running backs, 24 receivers and 12 tight ends. The page names the league size each list uses: when a scoring type has no 12-team league with this week's rows, the list uses the closest size AVRA serves. Flex spots depend on your roster, so the list leaves them out.

Why would my league's call be different?

This list assumes a standard league. Your scoring, your flex spots, the players you roster and who they face all change who you should start. Connect your league and AVRA builds its lineup call for your team every week.

For your own team, use start/sit calls for your roster, the trade analyzer or waiver wire help, and check AVRA's 2025 test results.

Frequently asked questions

When does this week's start/sit list update?

Every Tuesday after Monday Night Football, and again through the week as injuries and news move the projections.

Is AVRA's weekly start/sit list free?

Yes. The public list is free, and so is the weekly lineup call for one connected league.

How accurate are AVRA's start/sit calls?

AVRA learns from every call, right or wrong. In 2025 testing, AVRA's lineups reached 91.25% of the optimal lineup across 51,840 team-weeks. The method is on the proof page.
